Bonnie Crichton MRSS

Originally from Canada, Bonnie discovered Shiatsu by way of a notice on the wall of a local coffee shop and signed up for the course with no prior knowledge. She has been hooked ever since! A graduate of the Shiatsu School Edinburgh and now an Assistant for the school, Bonnie is also a founding member of The Shiatsu Place. She is interested in nutrition from both an Eastern and Western perspective and how this can fit in with Shiatsu and be of benefit to her clients.

Colin Cuninghame MRSS

Colin began studying Shiatsu in 2001 and attained MRSS status in 2006. During his years of study and qualified practice he has gained experience in working with a wide range of satisfied male and female clients whose ages varied from 11 to 83. He currently works mainly on a massage table rather than the traditional futon and this is proving popular with all of his clients.

Originally frrom Ireland Dee graduated from The Shiatsu School Edinburgh in September 2005 and following a Post Graduate Year acheived MRSS (Member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society) status in February 2007. Initially ploughing her energy into the opening and running of The Shiatsu Place, Dee now has time to focus on further study and has recently taken a course in Massage Therapy for People Living with Cancer with Gayle MacDonald and CLAN (http://clanhouse.org/cms/), deepening her experience of the body and further enabling her to give comfort oriented Shiatsu to people with a history of cancer as well as those coping with the stresses of modern life.

Nina practices Shiatsu in Edinburgh and is a Member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society UK (MRSS.). She trained at the Yorkshire School of Shiatsu with Julie Dixon, completing her training at Glasgow School of Shiatsu with Elaine Liechti. She has continued her professional development by assisting with the Shiatsu School Edinburgh and undertaking further postgraduate studies with Laura Davidson at the Aberdeen College of Shiatsu.
Nina holds a Certificate in Counselling Skills from Stevenson College, Edinburgh, is a qualified Thermo-Auricular Therapist (Hopi Ear Candles), and has completed training with Sheila Smith in 'Complementary Therapies and Cancer' For personal development she practices Qi Gong and yoga.

Nicole came over from Berlin 6 years ago. She is an MRSS Shiatsu practitioner and a practising registered nurse. Her particular interest lies in digestive and breathing disorders. She has 7 years experience of energy work such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong, which supports her shiatsu practise, along with her medical knowledge gained through nursing.
